SHNU: Sponsored by Xinhua News Agency, Shanghai Far East Publishing House and SHNU, the Special Show of 120th Anniversary of Jiawu War (known as the first Sino-Japanese War in 1894) was heldon November 19th. It was attended by SHNU Vice Party Secretary Qin Liping, Vice Director of Shanghai Japanese Research Exchange Center, Director of Shanghai Far East Publishing House and representatives from various department of SHNU. The show displayed the historic appearances of Jiawu War by way of pictures and words, the comparison between Japan and China in power forces at different stages, as well as woodcut paintings, picture books and other rare materials. The show would last till December 10th at the first floor of Wenyuanlou building on Xuhui campus. It is also noted that military critic would be invited to deliver lectures at SHNU. |
