SHNU Organized a Lecture on the first Artificial Intelligence Innovation Competition for Postgraduates

To help studentsdevelop innovative ideas, as well as prepare for future participation, a special lecture on the AI Innovation Competition was held on November 19thon the Fengxian Campus.

Two distinguished guests from the field of artificial intelligence delivered a profound and inspiring presentation to the faculty and students present, centered on the core concept of "promoting learning and fostering innovation through competitions." From a dual perspective of entrepreneurship, innovation, and competition-driven education, they shared insights that resonated with the audience.

The first lecture was delivered by Teacher Zhang Qi, CEO of Shanghai Yiqi Technology Co., Ltd., with the theme "Deep Integration of AI Innovative Technologies and Industrial Applications: Insights from My Entrepreneurial Journey.".

In this lecture, Zhang Qi shared valuable insights with young people, drawing from her own practical experiences and focusing on the innovative opportunities in the era of artificial intelligence.

Subsequently, Ms. Xu Yuhua, General Manager of Shanghai Xunwang Information Technology Co., Ltd. and former faculty member of the School of Telecommunications Engineering at Tongji University, delivered a presentation titled "Exploring AI Applications Through Innovation Competitions.".

This lecture focused on how to stimulate innovative potential through competitions, enhancing students' understanding of cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies.

During his speech, he first emphasized that the AI Innovation Competition is a crucial practical opportunity for graduate students, encouraging them to actively participate and learn through competition. He also discussed trends in AI technology development, reminding students to maintain a balanced approach when applying technology, and to use competitions as a driving force to transform theoretical knowledge into real-world applications.

During the interactive session, students actively participated, engaging in in-depth discussions with the guest lecturers on topics such as AI technological innovation and pathways for project implementation.

This special lecture focused on how competitions can stimulate innovative potential and deepen students’ understanding of cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies. The first Shanghai Normal University Postgraduate AI Innovation Competition has officially entered its project submission and competition phase. We look forward to enthusiastic participation from graduate students across all schools.
