SHNU Graduate Students Achieved Outstanding Results at the Education Skills Contest

From December 18 to 19, the 2025 "Chinese Teaching Heroes" International Chinese Teaching Skills Exchange Event was held at the International Conference Center of Beijing Foreign Studies University. The event was jointly organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, the National Steering Committee for Professional Degree Programs in International Chinese Education, and the Joint Conference of Undergraduate Program Directors for Chinese International Education in Chinese universities.The exchange event attracted over 950 domestic and international teachers and students from 140 institutions across China and 39 countries, including more than 560 teachers from 32 overseas countries in Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Africa, and Latin America. In the end, 18 teachers’teams and 18 students’teams advanced to the final exchange activities, where they engaged in teaching exchanges and honed their pedagogical skills alongside local teacher representatives from four regional competition zones: Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

The master's students in International Chinese Education at ICCS of SHNU was awarded the title of "Best Teaching Organization Team." The team integrated AI technology and employed diverse teaching methods, consistently adhering to the core teaching philosophy of "AI as a supplement, not a replacement." By utilizing an AI-powered intelligent grading system, they enhanced teaching efficiency, making language learning more effective and engaging.

The Hanjiao Hero Conference serves as a professional and pioneering exchange platform in the field of international Chinese language education. It not only provides a stage for international Chinese language teachers and students to showcase their teaching innovations but also acts as a crucial link in deepening the connection between international Chinese language education resources and teaching practices.
