The preliminary examination for the 2026 National Postgraduate Entrance Examination was officially held from December 20 to 21. Shanghai Normal University(SHNU) organized and provided care to ensure the smooth and orderly close of the exam. The university strictly adhered to examination protocols, with multiple departments collaborating to conduct pre-exam drills, equipment maintenance, and emergency precautions, building a robust safeguard for candidates. Before the exam, the SHNU Party Committee Secretary Lin Zaiyong, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and President Chen Heng, and Deputy Party Committee Secretary and Vice President Zhu Huijun inspected the preparation and setup of various examination venues. During the exam, university leaders visited the venues to monitor order, promptly assess the exam progress, and provide full supervision to ensure its success.
In terms of dining, the campus cafeterias will specially open a "Postgraduate Entrance Exam Nutrition Window" from December 19 to 21, offering nutritionally balanced exclusive meal plans to refresh the examinees. Moreover the university has made classrooms, cafeterias, and music halls equipped with air conditioning available as cozy rest areas, while also providing free ginger tea and hot water to keep them warm during the cold winter days.
