Vice President of the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 Visits SHNU to Promote Cooperation

On the afternoon of March 26th, Manuel Jobert, Vice President of the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3( short for Lyon 3) in France, visited Shanghai Normal University (SHNU). Lin Zaiyong, Party Committee Secretary of SHNU, and its Vice President Jiang Mingjun met with the visitors. Representatives from the SHNU School of Humanities, the International Exchange Office, and relevant faculty members attended the meeting.  Lin Zaiyong expressed welcome to Jobert's visit, while Jiang Mingjun provided a detailed introduction tothe distinctive educational strengths that featureSHNU, highlighting the achievements in key disciplines such as world history.  

Jobert introduced the basic overview, educational philosophy, and international cooperation development plan of Lyon 3. He expressed his hope to use this visit as a link to establish a long-term and stable cooperation framework with our university, sign a cooperation agreement, and promote the mutual exchanges of researchers for academic research and collaboration.  

During the meeting, both sides conducted in-depth discussions on key cooperation areas such as researcher exchanges and joint doctoral training programs, centered around the core topic of historical archives research between China and France, before reaching multiple agreements.

Lyon 3 is a top-tier public university in the heart of Lyon, France. Established in 1973 through the reorganization of the University of Lyon, it is named after the resistance hero Jean Moulin. The university excels in humanities, social sciences, law, and management, with its law school particularly renowned in Europe.
